Picton’s iconic town clock is ticking again.
Councillor Michael Banasik said it was “about time” the clock above the old post office building was fixed.
“This is a good news for Picton,” he said.
“I am sure local shop keepers and customers will be pleased when they look up at the clock.”
Wollondilly Council had trouble sourcing parts to fix the heritage clock and are still waiting for the bell to be fixed so it can chime through the valley.
“The working clock coincides nicely with the Flourish Picton event on Saturday where the car giveaway competition will be drawn,” he said.
“It is now back to the future for Picton.”
