They may be Angels by name, but they’re a fierce foe on the softball diamond.
Macarthur’s Diamond Angels team was unstoppable and went through undefeated at Softball South Australia’s 21st annual Labour Day tournament on the October long weekend.
The determined girls coped with the travel well and did not drop their collective heads all weekend despite extremely poor conditions.
The inspiring Angels, made up of players from 10 to 14 years old, were one of seven teams in the under 15s division from across Australia.
All of the Diamond Angels’ team play club softball at Macarthur Softball’s base ground at Camden and each represent various local teams in competitions.
