Mladin retires Mladin retires

CAMDEN-born Mat Mladin is retiring from the American Superbike circuit after recently winning his seventh American Superbike title.

Mladin produced a string of seven consecutive wins in the series to open the year.

The 37-year-old took out the title one race before the New Jersey finale and is the most successful rider in the series' history.

One of the best riders in the history of American Superbikes, Mladin has recorded 82 career victories and 63 pole positions in American Superbike racing.

This season's championship is Mladin's first American Superbike title since 2005. His other titles came in 1999, 2000, 2001,2003 and 2004.
