The famous track hosted the big events such as The Australian Grand Prix in 1974, 1977, 1988 and 1989. The closure of the track will end 47 years of motor sport heritage.

Legendary names such as Warwick Nolan (endurance world champion, 2000 and 2002), Damian and Alex Cudlin, Rennie Scaysbrook, Russell Holland, Craig Coxhell, Gareth Jones, Phil Lovett, Grant Hay, Grant Davies, Jaime Aitken are among the 90 riders who will compete in the 30-team 6-Hour event.

They will all be vying to go down in history as the winner of the last ever race at the circuit and take their share of $25,000 in cash and prizes.

The 6-Hour will commemorate the historic occasion on Sunday with a past champions parade before the start of the big race with stars such as Jack Ahearn, Neil Chivas, Kevin Magee (winner of the last 6-Hour) present. Exhibitions will include restored Japanese and historic bikes from the past 40 years.
