THE Razorback Primary School Sports Association Zone gala day featured hundreds of school children playing a variety of sports last week.
Schools within the region competed in soccer, hockey, netball and Australian football.
The Zone's AFL gala day co-ordinator, Karen Williams, said Australian football had been a welcome addition to the big event. ``This year we decided to add Australian football to enable more children to become active and participate in a sport,'' she said.
Schools involved in the Australian football sessions this year were from Camden, Harrington Park, Narellan Vale, Oakdale and Thirlmere.
