Ghosts' batsmen disappointing

CAMPBELLTOWN-Camden lost on first innings by 179 runs at Raby Oval on Saturday.

The home team was chasing Fairfield Liverpool's total of 8(dec)-371.

In a disappointing batting display the Ghosts were never in the hunt dismissed in 58.4 overs.

It was the Ghosts' final home game of the summer.

Troy Yabsley top-scored with 38, Cameron Nupier was next best with 33 and Tony Clark made 32 in the team's total of 192. All-rounder Nupier has been a solid contributor scoring 514 runs at 24.5 and taking 33 wickets at 24.8.

The Ghosts play Mosman at Allan Border Oval, Mosman, starting at 10am.

It's the final game of the season and is a 50-overs-a-side game.

The first grade team is out of finals contention.

The only Ghosts' team which is in the semi-finals is the second-placed fifth grade. Opener Simon Peddle has been in grand form scoring 377 runs averaging 53.9.
