CAMDEN kids will be singing their little hearts out later this month for the annual Spastic Centre Carols Festival.
``This festival has long become a tradition in Camden,'' musical director Heather Bieman said, acknowledging its 49th year.
``It's a fabulous event, (you'll be) seeing the kids up on that stage singing their little hearts out and enjoying every song.''
She said the event, presented by Camden Uniting Church's Amazing Grace Academy of Performing Excellence (AGAPE), made it feel like the Christmas season had begun.
All proceeds will go directly to the Spastic Centre of NSW.
``(It's important) because the people that are helped by the Spastic Centre in NSW require a lot of one-on-one help and so there's a huge staffing requirement,'' Mrs Bieman said.
The Spastic Centre provides therapy, services, education and equipment for people young and old with cerebral palsy.
This year the choir is made up of students from Elderslie Public School, Hope Christian School, Camden Public School, Broughton Anglican College and MtHunter Public School. Amazing Grace Kids and the Amazing Grace Singers will also be participating.
