Keneally inspects South West Rail Link site

Premier Kristina Keneally and Transport and Roads Minister David Campbell inspected construction of the $2.1 billion South West Rail Link on Monday afternoon.

Ms Keneally and Mr Campbell spoke to rail staff at Glenfield station and construction workers at the multi-storey car park site.

The South West Rail Link project is part of the state government's $50.2 billion Metropolitan Transport Plan.

It involves the construction of 11.4 kilometres of new twin track from Glenfield to Leppington.
