STAFF at Solutions Outsourced in Camden have thrown out their razors this month to raise money and awareness for men's health.
Miko Ademagic and his workmates have joined more than 100,000 Australians taking part in Movember this year.
The money raised in Australia is shared equally between programs targeting prostate cancer and male depression through the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue — the national depression initiative.
Mr Ademagic said he was inspired by Camden councillor David Funnell's story.
Cr Funnell was diagnosed with prostate cancer and given three months to live back in 2002.
"Incredibly, he's still alive thanks to the expertise of doctors and researchers," he said.
Mr Ademagic and his team are all raising money for men's health this month.
"Peter, John, Rabin, Dominic, Brett and Brendan are also taking part to grow a mo and raise money for research into depression and cancer," he said.
"Those not able to grow a mo are also supporting the cause."
The team hopes to raise $1000 for the cause.
Locals can donate or follow the team's mo-progress through Mr Ademagic's blog www.solutionsoutsourced.com.au/bl og.
