CAMDEN'S newest representative plans to do whatever she can to promote the many attractions of the town.
Lifelong Cobbitty resident Adriana Mihajlovic said there were many things she planned to tell people about Camden.
``I will tell people that Camden is a beautiful rural country town with a wonderful community,'' she said.
``I will jump at any opportunity that comes my way.''
``The 2009 Camden Showgirl Lauren Elkins invited me to the Frenchs Forest show so we will both be representing Camden there.''
Miss Mihajlovic, who is prac-teaching at Picton High School while completing her masters in education at the University of Western Sydney, said she hoped to encourage district youth to become more interested in studying.
``I am going to begin developing an education program to support young people who are struggling with their educational context,'' she said.
``I want the program to be holistic so it offers support, but also a great time and sparks that inspiration and love of learning.''
Miss Mihajlovic will complete an honours year at UWS in 2010, then plans to return to Camden to teach.
``I spent a year overseas which really concreted the fact that Camden is definitely my home,'' she said.
Miss Mihajlovic said she wanted to dedicate her win to her grandmother, Maria, who died on Friday.
