CAMDEN is encouraging its show-going neighbours in Campbelltown to make the short journey to Camden for the 124th Camden Show next month.
The Campbelltown Show ended last year so now was the perfect time for Campbelltown people to witness the ``Camden country tradition'', both show society presidents said.
``It's very unfortunate the Campbelltown Show had to fold up last year through a number of problems,'' Camden Show Society president David Head said.
``We feel very sorry for Campbelltown but we'd like to encourage anyone who used to love the Campbelltown Show to come over and see us we're still putting on a good show.''
Former Campbelltown Show Society president John Leary echoed Mr Head's statements.
``Camden is one of the best shows in the state,'' Mr Leary said. ``It's got everything, it's got country but it also has a wide range of entertainment it's always been a good show.''
The event on March 19 and 20 is expected to attract about 30,000 people and feature everything from livestock and dancing to fireworks and arts and crafts.
