Jodie Cicino, Austral: ``I do think it's a good idea. More people are taking notice. I'm just a bit concerned about the little hospitals, such as Camden, because you do need them. They can't forget smaller communities. It's way overdue just get it done.''
Helen Khodan, Ingleburn: ``To be honest, it's such a puzzle; it's hard to believe that big changes will be made. But we need to listen to the doctors, not the politicians''.
Keith Lynch, Menangle: ``Perhaps the idea would be good, but Mr Rudd never finishes anything. I think it'll end up in a cat fight between the state and federal governments. I can't see how they're going to get out of it really.''
Doreen Napier, Camden: ``Something needs to be done because they're in a mess. ``The hospitals have been neglected for a long time. We can't leave it as it is. We've got to do something. We need to work together for the good of the community.''
Margaret Crocker, Grasmere: ``No, I don't support it I'd like to know more details (from the federal government) first.''
Carmel Vetrano, Austral: ``It's good that the federal government is coming in. ``I don't like to see small hospitals go. You'd hate to see that (Camden Hospital) closing down''.
